Find out why Deb is one of Xtremes top stylists
About 20 minutes outside of Seattle, youll find the small community
of Woodinville, WA where Deb Reinhardt operates her luxurious home-based
salon, Viso DAngelo. Clients booking with Deb are treated to services
performed in a lush, relaxing, private room on Debs quiet ½
acre property. The privacy and seclusion of the location have captured
the interest of Seattles finest, many of whom now consider themselves
a part of the Viso DAngelo family. The personal attention and
care they receive often leads them to spend an entire day enjoying customized
pampering with facials, waxing, a private lunch and an application of
Xtreme Lashes. I get to know my clients extremely well,
says Deb. Most just become very good friends.
Deb has a long history of working one on one to provide personalized
services. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and
Merchandising in Los Angeles, she spent the next twenty years creating
gowns for brides and their wedding parties. In 2002 she turned this
creative focus towards the beauty industry and became a Licensed Esthetician
through the Euro Institute of Skin Care in Seattle. She accepted a position
with The Spa at Pro Sports Club in Seattle, providing her facial and
waxing services to their exclusive clientele for the next several years.
In 2005, Deb had a friend introduce her to eyelash extensions. She
was getting some put on and I went with her, she recalls. I
loved the concept but hated the way she had them done. Her friends
lashes were applied while she was sitting in a chair, the stylist didnt
do any separating and they were all one length according to Deb. Realizing
a great opportunity for improvement existed, she started looking into
different companies. I wanted to jump on the band wagon,
she says. What sold me on Xtreme Lashes was that you only accepted
licensed people. I said Well then, thats whats going
to set you apart. That you wanted to deal with the best people
out there. Deb flew to Los Angeles in November 2005 for her Stylist
training and came back to be one of the first to attend an Advanced
Training during the initial month it was offered, September 2006.
Her inspiration for the oasis of beauty now known as Viso DAngelo,
an Italian name meaning face of an angel and inspired by
her son, Arich, came shortly after. I wanted the freedom to do
what I wanted, especially with the lashes. Im not a good 9 to
5er. I have people that come at 7am now and people that come at 10pm.
They know that they can come anytime and they like that, she explains.
Apparently people come not just at any time but from anywhere to Viso
DAngelo. Deb says her Directory Listing with Xtreme Lashes has
brought clients to her from all over including Canada, Montana, Hawaii
and even Alaska. That directory has been wonderful for me,
she says. People are recognizing the brand. I also get a lot of
phone calls from people that have had poor jobs done elsewhere.
Aside from the Xtreme Lashes Directory, Deb advertises in local Seattle
Bridal Magazines, online, and does extensive networking to build up
her client base. She regularly attends wine related events in her area
and frequents many of the functions put on by the Seattle Bridal Consultants
Group. She also donates free lash applications to support many charitable
events like those put on by The Ronald McDonald House and Make A Wish
Foundation, which keeps her in touch with local society. It wasnt
always easy operating a business on her own, she tells us. It
took me about 14 months to really build up a good clientele. Its
probably the hardest thing Ive done in my life, but its
been so worth it.
The future is full of rich possibilities for this mother of three and
grandmother of two. Deb has two sons, Arich and Ian, but works closest
with daughter Rebekah, a Fashion graduate like herself. The two hope
to launch a clothing line together over the next few years. Not lacking
in ambition, Deb also hopes to one day open a salon outside of her home
and train others to practice her nurturing ways. I care about
my people on their inside as much as their outside. Thats why
they come back and back and back and thats why I just love what
I do.

ALL THE GOSSIP GIRLS are whispering about the best-kept beauty secret
among Seattle's swanky social set. "Men love 'em like they love
a Brazilian," Deb Reinhardt says of her eye-popping eyelash extensions
